Job Opening: Full-Time Program Coordinator – Loudon County & Part-Time Program Coordinator-Morgan County
CASA of the Tennessee Valley currently has openings for the following: -Loudon County Program Coordinator, full-time position-Morgan County Program Coordinator, part-time position. These positions are vital to our mission of advocating for abused and neglected children by supporting and supervising volunteer advocates and working closely with the juvenile court system.
Program Coordinator
The Program Coordinator supports and empowers CASA volunteer advocates in their role as court-
appointed advocates for children. This position is responsible for volunteer supervision, training, case
management, and promoting CASA’s mission in the community.
Reports To:
Executive Director
Supervises:
CASA Volunteer Advocates in assigned county
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, screen, and help train volunteer advocates
- Assign volunteers to new cases and assist with case planning
- Review and approve volunteer court reports
- Provide ongoing volunteer supervision, support, and consultation
- Attend court hearings with volunteers and for new case preparation
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and database entries
- Build community awareness through speaking engagements and events
- Assist with fundraising activities and volunteer in-service training
- Collaborate with community partners and agencies
- Support other counties as needed; attend meetings and training sessions
- Complete a minimum of 12 hours of in-service training annually
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to supervise, motivate, and support volunteers
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Proficient verbal and written communication
- Experience in social services, volunteer management, or child advocacy preferred
Position Details:
- Type: Hourly, full-time for Loudon County and Hourly, part-time for Morgan County
- Benefits: No health benefits provided
Assigned Area: This position serves one of the six counties in CASA of the Tennessee Valley’s
service area: Loudon, Morgan, Roane, Cumberland, Putnam, or Overton County. County
assignment will be determined by the Executive Director.
